Momma and Pip. We got Momma shortly after we purchased the farm, October 2010. Pip is her baby.
Newest addition to the farm. A Jacob 4 Horned sheep.
Despite it's name, this is a British breed of sheep. It combines two characteristics unusual in sheep: it is piebald—dark-colored with areas of white wool—and it is often multi-horned.
It is reared mainly for wool, meat, and skins. Ours are strictly for ornamentation, and a little bit of wool.
This is another new addition. A Jacob 4 Horned sheep with two horns. We got him because we liked the curled horns.
Maddie, another Jacob sheep with her lamb., Oliver (as in twist).
Maddie leading with Leah and Leah's lambs, Baileys and Guinness. Leah's twins were born on St. Patrick's day.
